Cookies and storage technologies

Published 25 September 2026

Cookies and other storage technologies used by the FutureOps website and restricted management console.

Optional website analytics

The public FutureOps website offers optional Google Analytics, provided by Google, to measure visits and understand which pages are useful. The Google tag loads only after you select Accept analytics. Rejecting analytics does not restrict access to the site. Advertising personalisation and Google Signals are disabled. We do not send enquiry form fields to Google Analytics. The contact form does not need a login session. Technical server logs are separate from browser storage; our Privacy notice describes information used to operate and protect the service.

Your choice and analytics cookies

The first-party local-storage entry futureops.analytics-consent.v1 remembers your accepted or rejected choice for 180 days. It is written only when you make a choice. After acceptance, Google Analytics may set first-party _ga and _ga_7HNNPXG1L9 cookies to distinguish visits. Their configured lifetime is 180 days and may be renewed through use. You can change or withdraw your choice using Cookie preferences in the footer. Withdrawing disables this analytics property and removes these cookies.

Google processes analytics data on its infrastructure. For information about Google’s handling of this data, see https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Analytics can include page paths, browser and device information, and approximate location derived by Google. Our explicit page-view events omit URL query strings and fragments.

What storage technologies are

Cookies are small data files stored on a device. Similar storage and access technologies include web storage, tracking pixels, scripts, tags and some forms of device fingerprinting. Their purposes can include providing a requested service, protecting security, remembering preferences, measuring use or advertising.

Restricted management console

The restricted management console at cms.futureops.co.uk uses a secure session cookie so authorised users can sign in and use the service. The configured session expires on browser close or after 30 minutes of inactivity. It is not used for advertising or behavioural tracking.

Future changes

Before introducing a storage or access technology, FutureOps will document its provider, purpose, information accessed, first- or third-party status, duration, and the applicable exception or consent requirement. A technology that is not exempt will not be enabled before the user has an appropriate choice. This notice and any preference control will be updated before the changed technology is released.

Browser controls and linked websites

Most browsers allow you to view, block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking strictly necessary storage can prevent a requested service from working. Websites reached through an external link control their own technologies and policies; this notice does not describe their use.
